Paper for Our Schools - We're Donating

I can't tell you how much the budget cuts for our schools has really irked me.  The fact that we spend more money and place a bigger priority on the standards of our prisoners over that of our children sickens me.  Of course, complaining about it without doing anything bothers me even more.  So, instead of just standing on my soap box and complaining about it, I'm going to do something positive instead.  =)  Because let's face it, I can't handle that much negativity in one sitting and if I am going to bitch about it I may as well do something to help out!

From now until February 28, I am planning on taking the proceeds from my eBook sales and purchasing cases of paper for our local schools.  Of course, this will be great for the Gilbert Public School District, but how about the rest of the country?  Well, I have an idea for that too!

For those of you who are teachers or school administrators, if you would like to participate in our little Paper Drive, please post in the comments section your name and the name of your school. On March 1st, I will go ahead and choose 3 teachers to receive shipments of paper!  Ideally, I would like to send paper to everyone and if I can get enough Paper Matchers I will definitely do that!

In the meantime, I am going to be talking with some local businesses to see if we can't get some paper matching going on.  How wonderful would THAT be!?!
